Reverse Engineering
What is Reverse Engineering?
Reverse Engineering is Kaiju Hub AI's bounding-box directed image-to-code and image-to-wireframe tool. Upload any image — a screenshot, a design mockup, or a photo of a UI — and use bounding boxes to identify and direct what each element on the image should do. Convert the result into working code or a wireframe layout.
Creating a Reverse Project
Click the + New Reverse Project button to create a new project. Give it a name and description to keep your reverse engineering work organized.
How It Works
Upload an Image
Upload a screenshot, design mockup, or any image of a UI into the Reverse Engineering tool.
Draw or Auto-Detect Bounding Boxes
Manually draw bounding boxes around UI elements, or use AI auto-boxing to detect elements automatically. Each box highlights a distinct component on the image.
Direct Element Behavior
For each bounding box, define what should happen — for example, clicking a button opens a modal, a nav link goes to another section, or a card displays specific content.
Generate Code or Wireframe
Convert the annotated image into working component code in your target framework, or export it as a wireframe layout for further editing in the Wireframe tool.
Key Features
Image Upload
Drag and drop or browse to upload any image — screenshots, mockups, photos of hand-drawn sketches, or existing app UIs.
Bounding Box Annotation
Draw precise bounding boxes around individual UI elements to isolate them for code generation or behavior assignment.
AI Auto-Boxing
Let AI automatically detect and box UI elements in your image, saving time on complex layouts with many components.
Behavior Direction
Assign behaviors to boxed elements — define what clicking, hovering, or interacting with each element should do in the generated code.
Dual Output
Generate either working code (in your target framework) or a wireframe layout that can be further refined in the Wireframe tool.
