Getting Started with Kaiju Hub AI

This guide walks you through the essential first steps after installing Kaiju Hub AI. By the end, you will have your AI providers configured, your GitHub account connected, and your development environment ready to go.

Add AI Service Keys

Open Settings from the header and navigate to AI Services. Click on API Keys and add your keys for the providers you want to use — OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Grok, or DeepSeek. Each key unlocks AI-powered features like code generation and project building.

Connect Your GitHub Account

Click the GitHub accounts icon in the header. Click Add Account, then click the link to create a new token in GitHub Settings. This opens the Personal Access Tokens page. Generate a classic token, select the repo scope, and click Generate. Copy the token, paste it into Kaiju Hub AI, add your username and email, then click Add Account.

Set Up IDE Integration

Kaiju Hub AI integrates with Claude Code, Codex, and Gemini CLI. Go to Settings > AI Services > Agentic Agents to configure which CLI agents are available in your projects. Make sure the CLIs are installed on your system for full functionality.

Configure Your Defaults

If you are a Pro subscriber, head to Settings > Tech Stack to set default frameworks, AI providers, and models for new projects. This saves time when creating projects by pre-selecting your preferred stack.
