Manage Projects and Ecosystems from Mobile

The mobile Project actions menu edits the projects on your paired desktop. Use it to organize your dashboard or link existing projects into a shared ecosystem. You need an active desktop connection to save changes.

1

Touch and hold a project

In Projects, touch and hold a project card or list row to open Project actions. The menu includes Open project, Edit project, Ecosystem connections, Move, favorite controls, Run project or Stop project, and Copy project path. The copied path belongs to your desktop.

2

Rename the project or its folder

Choose Edit project, change Project name, and tap Save. To change the folder on disk as well, first stop the project, then enable Rename folder on desktop and enter a folder name without path separators. A linked project also offers Unlink GitHub. Review the selected changes before saving.

3

Set the dashboard order and group

Choose Move, use Move up or Move down, or tap a position in the list. Tap OK to save the order. Use Add to favorites or Remove from favorites to change favorite status. When groups are available, choose Move to group, select a group or No group, and tap Save. These changes synchronize with the desktop dashboard.

4

Connect existing projects

Open Ecosystem connections. Search or browse projects by group and select 2–50 projects, including the current project, which stays selected. Under Project descriptions, describe each member’s role and coordination needs, then tap Save. This existing-project editor has a different limit from the 2–4-app creation wizard.

5

Join an existing ecosystem

If the current project is not in an ecosystem, select a project marked Join its ecosystem to include all of that ecosystem’s members. Those members stay selected during the join. Projects marked In another ecosystem are unavailable when you are already editing a different ecosystem; this control does not merge two established ecosystems.

6

Confirm the saved changes

Reopen the actions menu or check the desktop dashboard to verify the name, order, group, or ecosystem membership. If Save is disabled, check your connection, confirm that something changed, and keep at least two ecosystem members selected. Use Retry if membership failed to load; update both apps if a command is unavailable.
