Clone a Git repository directly into Kaiju Hub AI without leaving the app. The clone dialog supports two modes: cloning by URL and browsing your connected GitHub repositories.

Clone by URL

Paste any GitHub repository URL to clone it locally. The following URL formats are supported:

https://github.com/owner/repo

https://github.com/owner/repo.git

https://github.com/owner/repo/tree/branch

[email protected]:owner/repo.git

My Repositories

Switch to the My Repositories tab to browse and clone repositories from your connected GitHub account. This requires a GitHub account to be linked in Settings.

Options

Destination Folder

Choose where the repository will be cloned on your local machine. Click Browse to select a directory.

Account

Select which GitHub account to use for authentication when cloning private repositories.

Install dependencies automatically

When checked, Kaiju Hub AI will detect the package manager and run the install command after cloning completes.

Click Clone Repository to start the clone. The project will appear in your dashboard once complete.
