The General tab lets you choose the default platform and build type for new projects. Set your preferred starting point so every project is pre-configured to your workflow.
Default Platform
Choose the default project type: Blank, Desktop, Web, or Mobile.
Default Build Type
Choose between Fresh Install (clean scaffold from a template) or AI-Generated (AI creates the initial codebase based on your description).

Language / Runtime
Blank projects let you start with a preferred language or runtime. Select a default so new blank projects are pre-configured with your stack of choice.
Desktop

Set the default desktop framework for new projects. Each framework determines the available frontend and database options.

Select a default frontend framework for client-side web projects.
Full-Stack
Select a default full-stack framework for projects that include both frontend and backend.
WordPress Headless
WordPress supports Standard mode (traditional PHP themes) or Headless mode (decoupled architecture). In Headless mode, select an optional frontend framework for the decoupled frontend.
Mobile
Mobile Framework
Set the default mobile framework for new projects. Options include cross-platform frameworks and native platform-specific options.

React Native with Expo SDK for streamlined cross-platform development.
React Native CLI
Standard React Native setup for full native module control.
Flutter
Google's cross-platform UI toolkit using Dart.
Ionic
Web-based cross-platform framework using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
