Adding Blocks to a Group
When you select an empty group, you’ll see a prompt to create your first block. There are several ways to add content:
Create First Block
Click the Create First Block button to start adding content to an empty group.
Drag & Drop Files
Drag files directly from your file system into the drop zone. Supported formats include Images, JSON, HTML, CSS, JS, TS, TSX, and JSX.
Paste Content
Paste code, text, or other content directly into the group to create a new block.
Multi Blocks
Paste content while a file is already selected to create multi blocks — a single block entry containing multiple files.
Block Cards
Each block appears as a card in the main content area. Cards show a file preview, the block name, and a favorite star you can toggle. Use the toolbar icons in the top-right corner to search blocks, switch between grid and list views, or access additional options.
View
Opens the block in a detail modal where you can preview the content across Text and Markdown Preview tabs, and copy the raw text.
Copy
Copies the block content to your clipboard for quick reuse in other parts of Kaiju Hub AI or external editors.
Favorite
Star a block to mark it as a favorite for easy access later.
Block Detail View
Clicking View on a block opens the detail modal. The modal header shows the block name and its asset type badge. Inside, you can switch between two tabs:
Text
Displays the raw source content of the block with syntax highlighting. Use the Copy TEXT button to copy the full content to your clipboard.
Markdown Preview
Renders the content as formatted markdown, making it easy to read documentation, READMEs, and other structured text at a glance.
Opening the Creator View
Double-click any group in the sidebar to enter the Creator View, a full editing environment where you can build and edit blocks with AI assistance. See the Creator View section for details.
